"Birds Up"
Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 05:32PM After some finishing touches, "Birds Up" is complete. This was the theme of the sculpture from the beginning; and is now the title that Ann and Joe have so perfectly captured. We want to thank them for this opportunity to make more art. Being at the ranch and working with them has been a most delightful experience. Now Larry has "Birds Up" to add to his body of work.
Cultivated from many years of hard work and diligence from his heart, Larry has once again contributed his sculptural excellence.

Thanks for documenting and sharing this project. Quite amazing. I would love driving by it every day to be inspired by thoughts of nature, the love between dog and owner, the excitement of finding a bird, joy, beauty, companionship and so many others. Very inspiring.

I love it, the pheasant is beautiful and elegant and the dog is SO being a dog. It is beautiful and fun at the same time. What a lot of work. good photos, too.

wow is all i can say ....WOW and that Texas Heat is no joke deep south texas is were i hang my hat since i was 6 months old it gets the type of hot you cant breath you gotta have alot of respect to this larry guy :) thats the first time i ever saw something like that ive been trying to find old wood on the floor he did the whole tree CHIP BY CHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wiTh all due repect -Aj
